An arrest has been made in the Saturday evening shooting death of a 65-year-old woman who was fatally shot in her driveway.
Police say Javier D. Blood, of 26th St. NE, was booked into the Stark County Jail on $1 million bond Tuesday.
Blood is accused of shooting 65-year-old Jenny Norris outside of her home in the 100 block of Belden Ave. She was shot in the abdomen and later died at Aultman Hospital.
Police say Blood was in a vehicle that had been riding around the neighbor and returned before the shooting that killed Norris. Evidence shows at least eight shot were fired.
Blood was arrested at his home without incident. He was charged with Having Weapons While Under Disability and Murder.
