The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office was requested for assistance in an investigation Monday in Uniontown.

The Uniontown Fire Department responded to a fully involved house fire in the 3900 block of Northdale St. NW. Firefighters observed fire on both levels.

The Fire Department was able to contain the fire within the first hour of being on scene and determined the house was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal was called in to investigate the cause of the fire. It was quickly determined fire was intentionally set to the house.
