The Stark County Sheriff’s Office said a 23-year-old Canton man died Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 11:59 in Plain Township.
Investigators say Alexander R. Anderson of Canton was riding a 2003 Honda motorcycle eastbound on Mt. Pleasant St. NE when he failed to yield at the stop sign. He struck another vehicle traveling southbound on State Route 43.
Anderson died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, a 30-year-old woman from Canton, was uninjured in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation and anyonewith information is asked to call the Stark County Sheriff’s Office at (330) 430-3800.
