According to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s communication team, the governor will deliver a statewide address on the COVID-19 pandemic Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m.

His regular 2 p.m. news conference has been canceled with the announcement of the 5:30 p.m. address.

Gov. DeWine will continue “his conversation on where we are in our fight against the Coronavirus and our progress towards reaching the end of the COVID pandemic,” according to the governor’s office.

This comes after a strong push for Ohio to lift their mask mandate, after Texas and Mississippi announced they will no longer be forced to wear masks.

We will share the live stream of the statewide address on Facebook.
