The Middletown mother who is behind bars after allegedly dragging her son down the road and killing him in an attempt to abandon him at a park, is now telling authorities that her boyfriend pressured her into getting rid of her three children, according to reports from Fox 19.
Brittany Gosney told investigators the reason she drove to a park to abandon her son, James Hutchinson, is because her boyfriend, James Hamilton, wanted the children gone.
She told investigators that she had all three of her children out of her vehicle, and she tried to speed away. Hutchinson grabbed onto the vehicle and Gosney dragged him down across the pavement. When she returned to the scene later, she found him dead from head head injury in the parking lot.
Gosney picked up his body, put it in the vehicle and returned home with her two other children.
Hamilton was not present when the child was killed, but reports say he helped Gosney dispose of the the child’s body in the Ohio River.
Gosney has been charged with multiple crimes, including murder. She’s being held on $1,000,000 bond. Hamilton has been charged with gross abuse of a corpse. He is being held on $800,000 bond.
