Four men arrested in Stark County break ins

Four individuals were arrested by the Stark County Sheriff’s office in connection with a string of break-ins and thefts that occurred in Tuscarawas Township from Nov. 8, 2020 to Jan. 18, 2021.

Deputies investigated multiple reports of break-ins and thefts from residences, businesses and vehicles.

Authorities said the items stolen included vehicles, tools, tires, and wheels. The property value of the stolen items exceeded $10,000.

The majority of the stolen property was recovered at a residence located in the 1000 block of Kenyon Avenue NW in Tuscarawas Township. Additional property reported stolen from Perry Township, Beach City, and Massillon was also recovered at the same residence. Four individuals have been charged in connection with the incidents.

  • 25-year-old Kyle Bowers of Kenyon Avenue NW has been charged with one count of receiving stolen property (F5), two counts of breaking and entering (F5), and one count of grand theft (F4).
  • 26-year-old Casey Dotson Jr. of Beach City has been charged with one count of receiving stolen property (F5).
  • 33-year-old Kenneth Duncan of Dalton has been charged with one count of breaking and entering (F5) and one count of grand theft (F4).
  • 19-year-old Jordan Findley of Massillon has been charged with one count of grand theft (F4).

“I commend the Stark County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Unit for identifying the critical connections in this case,” stated Sheriff George T. Maier. “They have successfully put a stop to the string of criminal activity in this community and are helping to bring justice to all of the victims involved.”
