A 35-year-old man is dead after a shooting in west Akron Thursday afternoon.
Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Park Lane Dr. for a shots fired call, according to Akron police.
Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a male on the ground, unresponsive suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The 35-year-old man later died at the scene.
At this time the investigation is ongoing. No suspects have been identified or arrested, according to police.
