The new year got off to a great start for the Maternity Center caregiver team at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital.
The first baby born in the hospital in 2021 arrived on New Year’s Day. Blaine and Ashley Ripley of Newcomerstown welcomed daughter Awnah at 1:16 p.m. on Jan. 1.
Jessica Nazzaro, DO, of the hospital’s new OB/GYN practice, delivered Awnah.
Members of the Maternity Center team prepared a gift basket filled with plenty of goodies – many from the Corner Shop located at Union Hospital – for the Ripley family to celebrate the birth of Awnah and to thank them for entrusting their family’s care to Union Hospital.
