Jackson Twp. police say that Mario Lerario (the suspect in a fatal hit & run that killed Abigail Vanest Nov. 21) has been admitted to an out of state hospital for treatment.
Mr. Lerario has retained legal counsel, whom have been in touch with law enforcement.
At this time, the Jackson Township Police Department believes that speed and alcohol and/or drugs may be a factor in the crash.
Upon completion of the investigation, the incident will be reviewed by the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office for the possible filing of criminal and/or traffic charges.
