An 11-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter Thursday afternoon in Canton, according to police.
The crash happened at the intersection of 10th Street and Arlington Avenue NW.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing and the crash report has not yet been completed. Preliminary information indicates the 11-year-old did not stop at a stop sign while riding the scooter and was struck by a vehicle.
The child sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
No one was arrested in connection with the crash.
